ASIOS LLC ("ASIOS," "we," "our," or "us") provides Become. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Become and its paid features. By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Become, you agree to these Terms and the Become Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Become.
1. Eligibility and App Store Terms
Become is designed for a general audience and is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to use it. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Become only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
For applications downloaded from Apple's App Store, your license to use Become is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a custom end user license agreement is provided through Apple. These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA.
2. Become Features
Become is a daily mindset and Signals app. Features may include Daily Signals, Reps sessions, Focus Areas, Saved Signals, Marked Signals, Vault and history, My Signals, themes and typography choices, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, reminders, and optional custom photo backgrounds from your photo library. Features may vary by app version, device, territory, or subscription status.
3. Personal Use License and Ownership
Subject to these Terms and applicable app store terms, ASIOS grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Become for your personal, non-commercial purposes. ASIOS and its licensors retain all rights in Become, including its software, visual design, branding, text, graphics, Signals, and other materials provided through the app, excluding content you lawfully create.
4. Your Local Content
Become stores user-created Signals, saved Signals, marked Signals, history, preferences, reminder settings, widget preferences, and custom photo backgrounds locally on your device. ASIOS does not receive, store, or review that local content through Become's core app features. You are responsible for securing and backing up your device and for deleting local content when desired.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use any content you add to Become, including an image you select from your photo library as a custom background.
5. Informational Content Disclaimer
Become provides mindset, motivational, and personal reflection content for general informational purposes only. Become is not medical, mental-health, fitness, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or advise on any condition, decision, or obligation.
6. Subscriptions, Trials, and Paid Access
Become requires an active subscription for app access. Become offers an annual auto-renewable subscription with an eligible 7-day introductory trial and a monthly auto-renewable subscription with no free trial. The available price, billing period, trial eligibility, included access, and renewal terms are shown in the app before purchase.
For iOS applications, purchases are processed through Apple's App Store using your Apple Account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period or trial period, as described by Apple and in the applicable purchase screen. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
If a free trial is offered, its duration is displayed before enrollment. Unless canceled before the trial ends, it converts to the paid subscription selected at enrollment. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account subscription settings. Refunds and billing disputes for App Store transactions are handled subject to Apple's policies.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Become in violation of applicable law or another person's rights; copy, distribute, sell, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it; interfere with the app, its purchase controls, or its security; or use automated means to access or burden the app inconsistently with its intended personal use.
8. Third-Party Services and Availability
Become may use or link to third-party services, including Apple's App Store, device functionality, subscription and paywall providers, analytics services, and external websites. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. ASIOS is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue Become or a feature where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and obligations relating to paid access already purchased. We do not guarantee that every feature will be available on every device or in every location.
9. Termination
You may stop using Become at any time. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription; subscriptions must be managed through your Apple Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse Become, or if suspension is reasonably necessary to protect users, ASIOS, or legal requirements.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Become is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ASIOS disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, suitability for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions; in those jurisdictions, exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ASIOS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of Become. ASIOS's total liability for claims arising from Become will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to ASIOS through Become in the twelve months preceding the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing Law, Changes, and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence apply. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, disputes arising from these Terms or Become will be brought in the state or federal courts having jurisdiction in New York.
We may update these Terms as Become or legal requirements change. We will post updated Terms with a revised date and provide additional notice where required by applicable law. Questions about these Terms may be sent to ASIOS LLC at support@asios.tech.
